1: First create a polygonal sphere, dimensions are not really worried about right now.
4: After that you can adjust your settings with the little box that is provided with the "create fire effect " option and then you can adjust all the settings that you want and adjust your fire to your own needs. Also you can go to the sidebar and then click Ctrl A, until a thin frame comes and also from there you can adjust your fire effect in the way you like and in the way you want to animate your fire.
5: After some settings have changed this is the basic fire that will appear in your viewport:
6: After rendering through that little cinema box at the top right you may get this kind of image. You can get rid of the little sphere (like I did) that is visible by toggling it's visibility at the side bar.
That concludes my tutorial about how to create a fire ball in Autodesk Maya. The next will be on how to animate this ball of fire, so be ready with this. This is for the beginners, therefore the intermediate will be next. Directly comment on this tutorial and talk about with me if you have any problems.

This blog gives an exposure about animation and how simple it is.
ReplyDeleteThe blog has given couple of examples with a step by step procedure of animating. This effort is very excellent and appreciable.

This is really awesome. great work.
ReplyDeletecan you post some other creation like walking kid or something like animated movies has.
This is great, but I'm using this tutorial to make a sun in space. How do I turn off the gravity fields to let the fire burn outwards instead of upwards?
